Compassion Harvest
Welcome to Rural Compassion Ministry Training Strategies.
I am glad you are interested in ways to develop compassion ministries in your community that build relationships bridges to the lost. Matthew recorded these words in chapter nine, “When Jesus saw the crowds He had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Jesus was moved by what he saw in the culture around him. When we see our culture in the same light, we cannot ignore the obvious. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few!” As a pastor myself, I often lament as Jesus did. I see all the hurting people, and ask where are the workers? They are in our pews and in the harvest before us. We need to train these workers to reach their circle of harassed and helpless friends and family.
Watch the following short video introduction and review the different training tracks you can follow and resources you can link to train your workers to cross the bridges of compassion into the harvest God’s brought to your community.
